Oreo cookies- Use your favorite Oreo cookies and you really can't go wrong! If you have cookies left over, try our 3 Ingredient Oreo Fudge and Oreo Buttercream Frosting.
Canned crescent rolls- A can of crescent rolls will create the perfect buttery pastry for that "deep fried" taste without the actual deep frying.
Powdered sugar- This is optional and can be omitted if desired, but adding a dusting of powdered sugar before serving makes them look and taste so much better!
See the recipe card below for full ingredients and instructions.
🔀 Substitutions & Variations
Rolls or sheets. If desired, you can use crescent roll sheets instead of the already cut crescent rolls, but you will still need to cut them into 8 triangles of equal size
Oreo Flavors. Any oreo cookie flavor will work great in this recipe- regular oreos, double stuff, mega stuff, golden oreos, mint, etc. -Chocolate peanut butter pie oreos are our favorite so far.
💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Use store-brand cookies. Off-brand chocolate sandwich cookies work just as well as name brands and cost less. Perfect when you're wrapping them in dough anyway.
Buy crescent rolls on sale. Stock up when they hit seasonal sales (holidays often bring deep discounts). They freeze well and defrost quickly.
Skip the powdered sugar. It's optional, so leaving it off keeps the recipe even more budget-friendly without changing the core flavor.
🥄 Instructions for Air Fried Oreo Cookies

Step 1: Unroll your crescent roll triangles and place them onto a cutting board. Make sure that none are touching or sticking together anymore.

Step 2: Place one oreo cookie onto each triangle, right there at the widest end of the triangle.

Step 3: Fold up the dough corners over the oreo cookie. It should look like a diaper at this point.

Step 4: Now roll the cookie towards the smallest end until fully rolled. Press the seams of the dough together and round out the cookie so that no parts of the oreo are peeking through.

Step 5: Place onto a greased air fryer basket. Repeat with all cookies until rolled and evenly spaced in the air fryer.

Step 6: Cook at 320 degrees F for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Remove from air fryer and place onto serving plates.
Step 8: Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Let cool for 2 minutes and enjoy!

👩🏻🍳 Expert Tips
- Don't Overcrowd the Pan: Ensure only a single layer of cookies is cooked at once. Leave ample space between each wrapped cookie so they don't touch. If they do, the crescent dough may not cook properly and could remain soft or doughy in those areas.
❄️ Storage and Reheating
Storage: These air-fried Oreos are best fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating in Air Fryer: Warm them at 320°F for 2-3 minutes until reheated and crisp again.

❓ Air Fried Oreo Cookies FAQs
Oreo cookies are actually vegan or vegetarian, and there are some canned crescent rolls that are vegan as well (like Pillsbury Original Crescents rolls). If desired you can easily make this a recipe that anyone can enjoy. Just make sure to pay attention to the ingredient labels.
Nope! While you could preheat it for 2-3 minutes if you wanted to, you really don't have to. This is great because it means ingredients can go from fridge to fryer to bellies in even less time.
All air fryers are built differently and while 5 minutes is plenty on my fryer at 320F, you may find that you need an extra minute or two. If this happens, you can flip the cookies over and cook the underside for 2 minutes to heat it from the other direction. This should be of help.
