For a fast and filling dessert or a sweet treat, you really can't beat these air fried Oreos, although a cold Oreo Milkshake would be a nice drink to serve with these cookies.
Air fryer oreo cookies were an instant hit around here. The moment that they hit the table, the kids and adults couldn't get enough of them! Then again, this family is crazy for Oreo recipes like Banana Oreo Milkshakes, Oreo Rice Krispie Treats, and Oreo Banana Bread.
Why This Recipe Works
- It's like fair food-but a little healthier. If you've ever tried deep fried Oreos at the fair, you already know you're in for a treat. These air fryer deep fried Oreos taste just like those but without all of the work and grease.
- You can use any flavor oreos! Make this cookie with your favorite name brand or off brand oreo sandwich cookies and you're in for a real treat every time.
- It's quick and cheap. This recipe costs about $2 to make and comes together in under 10 minutes from start to finish. A perfect treat when you want something right now and without spending too much money to do it.

🥘 Ingredients
Oreo cookies- Use your favorite Oreo cookies, and you really can't go wrong!
Canned crescent rolls- A can of crescent rolls will create the perfect buttery pastry for that "deep fried" taste without the actual deep frying.
Powdered sugar- This is optional and can be omitted if desired, but adding a dusting of powdered sugar before serving makes them look and taste so much better!

🔪 Instructions
Check out how to make Air Fried Oreo Cookies with these simple step-by-step instructions:
Unroll your crescent roll triangles and place them onto a cutting board. Make sure that none are touching or sticking together anymore.
Place one oreo cookie onto each triangle, right there at the widest end of the triangle.
Fold up the dough corners over the oreo cookie. It should look like a diaper at this point.
Now roll the cookie towards the smallest end until fully rolled. Press the seams of the dough together and round out the cookie so that no parts of the oreo are peaking through.
Place onto a greased air fryer basket. Repeat with all cookies until rolled and evenly spaced in the air fryer.
Cook at 320 degrees F for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from air fryer and place onto serving plates.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Let cool for 2 minutes and enjoy!
📖 Variations
Rolls or sheets
If desired, you can use crescent roll sheets instead of the already cut crescent rolls, but you will still need to cut them into 8 triangles of equal size
Oreo Flavors
Any oreo cookie flavor will work great in this recipe- regular oreos, double stuff, mega stuff, golden oreos, mint, etc. -Chocolate peanut butter pie oreos are our favorite so far.
🍴 Recipe Tips
Don't overcrowd the pan
Make sure that you only cook a single layer of these cookies at one time. There should be plenty of space between each wrapped cookie so that they are not touching. If they touch, you can bet that the crescent dough won't cook properly and will be soft/doughy in those areas.
👩🏻🍳 Storage
These air fryer fried Oreos are best when enjoyed fresh and warm from the basket. That said, they can be kept stored for up to 3 days in an airtight container at room temperature.
🍳Reheating
You can reheat them at 320 degrees F for 2 to 3 minutes if you want to eat them warmed up.
💭 FAQs
Oreo cookies are actually vegan or vegetarian, and there are some canned crescent rolls that are vegan as well (like Pillsbury Original Crescents rolls). If desired you can easily make this a recipe that anyone can enjoy. Just make sure to pay attention to the ingredient labels.
Nope! While you could preheat it for 2-3 minutes if you wanted to, you really don't have to. This is great because it means ingredients can go from fridge to fryer to bellies in even less time.
All air fryers are built differently and while 5 minutes is plenty on my fryer at 320F, you may find that you need an extra minute or two. If this happens, you can flip the cookies over and cook the underside for 2 minutes to heat it from the other direction. This should be of help.
