💛 Why You'll Love This Recipe
- It's quick to make. From start to finish, from prep to table, this Air Fryer Club Sandwich takes only a few minutes. Just a little hands on time and a little patience are all that is required.
- Easy to make. Building this sandwich is as simple as spreading some mayo and assembling the ingredients in the proper order.
- The sandwich is perfect. While there's nothing wrong with a classic club sandwich, this air fried version truly improved upon perfection by adding elements you didn't even know that you needed.
🛒 Ingredients

Sandwich bread- You can use any sliced sandwich bread you'd prefer. We like to use regular white bread, but you can use whole wheat, low carb, sourdough, etc.
Deli meats- You will want a combination of sliced ham and turkey deli meat for the best flavor.
Sliced cheese- You can use any sliced cheese of your preference. We like Muenster cheese and American.
Tomato- You'll need a ripe roma tomato for this sandwich. Adding sliced tomatoes will give the sandwich more freshness and make it feel juicy as well.

💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Use store-brand deli meat. Ham and turkey from Aldi, Walmart, or store brands taste great in toasted sandwiches and cost far less than name-brand deli slices.
Choose budget bread. Regular white or wheat sandwich bread is inexpensive and toasts perfectly in the air fryer, no need for premium bakery loaves.
Stretch ingredients. Use thinner layers of deli meat and let the fresh tomato and crisp lettuce bulk up the sandwich for a filling but low-cost meal.
🥄 Instructions for Air Fryer Club Sandwich

Step 1: Spread mayo on one side of both bread slices.

Step 2: Lay the bread, mayo side up in the air fryer. If needed, get a small trivet to place on top of the bread so that it doesn't fly around. Toast at 360F for 3 minutes.
Step 3: Remove the bread from the air fryer and spread mayo on the other side of the bread (the non-toasted sides).

Step 4: Lay the cheese on top of one slice of bread. Lay your meat slices on the other slice of bread.

Step 5: Toast at 360 degrees F for 2 minutes.

Step 6: Remove from the air fryer and add your cold lettuce and tomatoes.

Step 7: Top the tomatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8: Place the two halves together and enjoy your sandwich.

👩🏻🍳 Expert Tips
- Check after a minute. Make sure your bread doesn't fly around in the air fryer basket during toasting. Sometimes, the circulated air can push it up. If this happens, your bread won't toast well. You can fix this by adding 1-3 extra minutes to the cooking time.
- Toasting tip. To keep the bread in place, use a small metal trivet, like the ones used in Instant Pots.
- Another tip. Check that your bread is toasted enough before taking it out because it won't get darker after.
