Sourdough French Toast

You've never had a french toast recipe like this before. It's fluffy, well-spiced, sweet, and absolutely perfect.

Best part? You don't need stale bread, so just grab a loaf of sourdough and get started!

– 4 lg eggs – ⅓ cup milk – 1 pinch salt – 1 tbsp brown sugar  – 2 tsp vanilla – 1 tsp cinnamon – ¼ tsp nutmeg – 2 tbsp flour – 2 tbsp butter for griddle  – 6-8 slices of sourdough bread

In a pie plate whisk together the flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add in the milk, vanilla, and eggs, mix well.

Preheat your skillet or griddle to medium-high heat

Place your butter in the pan and let melt.

Dip the bread and flip it to coat the other side.

Cook the bread for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Serve with fresh fruits and maple syrup.
