🛒 Ingredients

Frozen watermelon. Freeze leftover watermelon by slicing it and placing it on a baking sheet overnight, or use store bought frozen watermelon if available.
Pineapple chunks. Fresh or canned pineapple both work well, depending on what you have on hand.
Frozen banana. Helps thicken the smoothie and adds natural sweetness. A fresh ripe banana works too. If you have extra frozen bananas, try them in our Strawberry Banana Orange Smoothie.
Frozen vanilla yogurt. Keeps the smoothie thick and cold. Chilled yogurt from the fridge can be used as well.

💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Use frozen fruit. Frozen watermelon and bananas are often cheaper than fresh and eliminate food waste from overripe fruit.
Buy fruit in season and freeze it yourself. When watermelon or pineapple is on sale, chop and freeze extra for smoothies later.
Canned pineapple works great. Canned pineapple is usually more affordable than fresh and still adds plenty of flavor.
Stretch with banana. Bananas are one of the cheapest fruits and help thicken the smoothie without needing extra yogurt.
Skip juice if needed. A splash of water or milk works just fine if you don't want to open or buy orange juice.
