    1. It's easy to make. We use a boxed cake mix as the base of this recipe, which means less effort and shopping. This is why we love adding boxed mix in cakes like this and our Chocolate Pistachio Bundt Cake and Easter Confetti Cake.
    2. It's affordable. This recipe is very cost-effective, meaning that it's great for tight budgets and still offers us delicious results every time.
    3. Perfect any night of the week. Serve up a cake any night of the week as a fun and simple after dinner dessert, and it's sure to be a huge hit. This cake also goes great for nicer occasions and gatherings as well.

    🥘 Ingredients

labeled ingredients needed to make oreo bundt cake with marshmallow icing.

    Ingredient Notes:

Boxed cake mix- Use a box of white cake mix as the base for this recipe.

Oreo cookies- You will need some whole Oreo cookies for this recipe. Make sure to save some Oreos for this Oreo Iced Coffee Recipe, Oreo Banana Bread, and Oreo Rice Krispie Treats.

Boxed Instant pudding- Use a box of cheesecake-flavored instant pudding for added flavor and moisture in every slice.

Marshmallow icing- For the marshmallow icing, you will need marshmallow fluff or marshmallow creme, vanilla, milk, and powdered sugar.

For specific ingredients and measurements, please see the recipe card below.

🔪 Instructions for Oreo Bundt Cake

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350F degrees and grease a bundt pan. Set it aside.

Whisk cake mix, eggs, milk, pudding mix, and oil. Add crushed Oreos, stir into batter.

Step 2: Add the cake mix, eggs, milk, dry pudding mix, and oil to a mixing bowl with a whisk (Image 1).

Step 3: Whisk together to combine (Image 2). Set aside.

Step 4: Break your Oreo cookies into small pieces. Add to cake batter (Image 3).

Step 5: Fold together until fully combined (Image 4).

Sprinkle crushed Oreos in bundt pan, pour batter, bake, then flip onto plate.

Step 6: Sprinkle Oreo cookie crumbs in the grease bundt pan *optional (Image 5).

Step 7: Pour the cake batter into your prepared bundt pan. Spread it out into an even layer (Image 6).

Step 8: Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean (Image 7).

Step 9: Let your cake cool for 15 minutes before flipping onto a wire rack.

Step 10: After the cake has cooled, move it to a large plate (Image 8).

Whisk icing ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake, sprinkle with crushed Oreos if desired.

    🍴 Recipe Tips

    1. Cooling Tip- Allowing the cake to cool for a few minutes in the bundt pan facilitates a cleaner release, minimizing the risk of broken pieces.
    2. Making it Dairy-Free- For a dairy-free version, opt for a dairy-free boxed cake mix and milk alternative. Oreos are vegan cookies, and boxed pudding mix typically doesn't contain dairy. However, it's always a good idea to double-check the ingredients to ensure they align with your dietary preferences.
    3. Customization- Feel free to add more cookies to the recipe if you desire an extra indulgent treat!

    💭 Recipe FAQs

Can I use a different boxed cake mix?

Absolutely! If you want to try this recipe using a yellow cake mix, chocolate cake mix, or a different flavor-go for it. Let me know in the comments how it tastes because I will be curious!

Do I need the stuff that the boxed cake mix asks for?

The back of your cake box will request eggs, oil, and water (on most boxes). Some may even request melted butter. You do not need those. We basically supplied what it asked for in this recipe and substituted the water for milk to make it better.

Is there a specific technique for preparing the bundt pan?

Before pouring the batter, it's recommended to grease and flour the bundt pan or use a baking spray to ensure the cake doesn't stick to the pan.
