💛 Why You'll Love This Recipe
- They're easy to make. These Strawberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are just as easy as you'd normally make them but with one or two small added steps. They require even less effort than making Mini Pigs in a Blanket!
- They're not too sweet. The tangy cream cheese and buttery rolls help to cut down on the sweetness from the jam making this recipe a perfect balance of flavors and not overpoweringly sweet. You can even use Sugar Free Strawberry Jam if you want to reduce the sugars.
- They're frugal and seasonal. Strawberries in spring, blueberries in summer, this recipe can easily be switched up with new jam flavors for seasonal variations all year long. I recommend trying my Sugar Free Blueberry Jam. Yum!
🛒 Ingredients

Crescent rolls- You can use any variety or brand of crescent rolls, but you'll need the ones from the cans in the grocery store's chilled section (found next to canned biscuits). If you buy extras, don't forget to try our Muffin Tin Pizza Bombs and Air Fried Oreo Cookies.
Strawberry jam- Use your favorite brand of strawberry jam or swap it out for a different flavor if desired. Check out How to Make Strawberry Jam (for Canning) if you want to use homemade!
Cream cheese- You'll need some cream cheese for the filling, but it's okay if it isn't softened. (This is the total opposite of what we normally say. Especially in recipes like Cream Cheese Alfredo Sauce and Blueberry Cream Cheese Babka). Brick cream cheese is easier to cut into pieces when chilled.

💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Use store-brand crescent rolls: They taste the same as name-brand dough but cost noticeably less.
Save leftover cream cheese: Cut the block into cubes, freeze the extras, and use later for other crescent roll recipes or dips.
Swap flavors seasonally: Use whatever jam is already in your fridge (peach, raspberry, blueberry) to avoid buying new ingredients.

👩🏻🍳 Expert Tips
- Different fillings, same results. Jam, jelly, or preserves will all work the same in this recipe. Use store-bought or homemade, and you're sure to enjoy the results.
- Seal the edges! Just make sure to get a good crimp on the edges so it doesn't leak out as it bakes. Similar to making a Small Batch of Cinnamon Rolls, you have to crimp the dough to keep the filling inside.
❄️ Storage and Reheating
Storage:
Keep baked Strawberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. For freezing, freeze cooled rolls on a baking sheet for 1 hour, then transfer to an airtight container. Freeze for up to 3 months. Add icing after reheating for best texture.
Reheating:
Microwave individual rolls for 15-25 seconds until warm. Avoid overheating, filling gets hot quickly.

❓ Recipe FAQs
Crescent rolls are much more bread-like than croissants. While the names may imply some similarity, croissants are a laminated dough with loads of butter in between, helping to make them light and fluffy when baked. The crescent dough is just thinly rolled dough.
If you're in a pinch and don't have any crescent dough on hand, you can use puff pastry. Just slice into squares, add the filling, fold, crimp the edges, and bake.
Yes, according to Pillsbury, you can open the cans of crescent roll dough up to 2 hours in advance. This means you can prepare these breakfast rolls up to 2 hours in advance (keep them in the fridge) and bake them when ready.
