🛒 Ingredients

Rolos. Use unwrapped Rolo candies. Buying a larger bag makes it easy, and kids can help unwrap them. If you have extras, try Rolo Stuffed Ritz Crackers.
Chocolate chips. Milk chocolate or semi sweet both work well as the fudge base.
Sweetened condensed milk. Creates a thick, sweet, creamy fudge. If you have another can on hand, try Creamy Lemonade.
Pecans. Chopped pecans add a light crunch to each bite.
See the recipe card below for full ingredients and instructions.
💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Watch for candy sales. Rolos are often discounted after holidays and work perfectly for this recipe.
Buy nuts in pieces. Chopped pecans are usually cheaper than whole and save prep time.
Cut into small squares. This fudge is rich, so smaller pieces go further and stretch the batch.
Make it for gifting. One batch yields multiple servings, making it a cost-effective homemade treat.

❓ Rolo Turtle Fudge FAQs
This easy turtle fudge can be kept stored in the fridge if desired, but it's not necessary. Fudge can last several weeks at room temperature if kept stored in an airtight container. Cold air technically dries out the fudge faster.
If you keep your fudge properly stored in an airtight container, you can expect a shelf life of 4-6 weeks! That's plenty of time to enjoy a little chocolate fix daily.
Overcooked fudge will become grainy, crumbly, or hard. This is why it's important to stir the melting chocolate constantly and keep an eye on it. You want it to come together and be smooth, but you don't need to cook it beyond that point.
