    🍴 Recipe Tips

This fudge sets up very quickly so it's best to start with everything premeasured, foiled, and ready to go to help cut down on time waste later.

You can add in as many Rolos as you want, but remember that they will shift as you pour the melted chocolate over the top.

These fudge pieces can be served at room temperature or chilled.

    💭 FAQs

    Should fudge be refrigerated?

This easy turtle fudge can be kept stored in the fridge if desired, but it's not necessary. Fudge can last several weeks at room temperature if kept stored in an airtight container. Cold air technically dries out the fudge faster.

How long will fudge last unrefrigerated?

If you keep your fudge properly stored in an airtight container, you can expect a shelf life of 4-6 weeks! That's plenty of time to enjoy a little chocolate fix daily.

What happens if you cook fudge too long?

Overcooked fudge will become grainy, crumbly, or hard. This is why it's important to stir the melting chocolate constantly and keep an eye on it. You want it to come together and be smooth, but you don't need to cook it beyond that point.
