- Fast dinner solution. This meal cooks in under 30 minutes and pairs easily with instant mashed potatoes, rice, or any simple side.
🛒 Ingredients

Sausages- You'll need several sausages for this recipe. I like to buy 2 of the 5 count packs because then there's enough for everybody to get two and some leftovers as well.
Brussels sprouts- Use fresh brussels sprouts that have been washed and trimmed. If you've still got fresh brussels sprouts on hand try our Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Carrots or our Bacon Ranch Brussels Sprouts.
See the recipe card below for full ingredients and instructions.
🔀 Substitutions & Variations
Swap the sausages. Use chicken sausage, kielbasa, smoked sausage, or classic brats.
Swap the veggies. Broccoli, cauliflower, or green beans roast beautifully and can replace the Brussels sprouts.
💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Buy value-pack sausage. Larger packs, especially kielbasa, smoked sausage, or store-brand brats, are often far cheaper per pound.
Use seasonal produce. Brussels sprouts are most affordable in fall/winter. Swap to broccoli or green beans when those are cheaper.
Stretch the meal. Adding in a sliced onion, 2 chopped large carrots, or a cubed butternut squash (when in season) can help to make this meal more filling without adding too much cost.
🥄 Instructions for Sheet Pan Sausages and Brussels Sprouts
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil if desired for easier cleanup.

Step 2: Wash the Brussels sprouts, trim off the ends, and slice them in half (quarter if very large).
Step 3: Peel and cube the sweet potato into 1-inch pieces.
Step 4: Slice the smoked turkey sausage into ½-inch rounds and saute them in a pan over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes or until browned on both sides.
Step 5: Place the Brussels sprouts and sweet potato cubes, and sausages into a large mixing bowl.

Step 6: Add olive oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Toss until all vegetables are evenly coated.
Step 7: Arrange on the baking sheet around the turkey sausage, spreading veggies out so they roast instead of steam.
Step 8: Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring the veggies once halfway through.
Serve hot and enjoy!
👩🏻🍳 Expert Tips
Season to taste. Adjust garlic, salt, pepper, or paprika based on your preference; this recipe is very forgiving.
Prep the Brussels sprouts correctly. Wash, trim the tough stem, and halve or quarter depending on size. Smaller sprouts cook quickly; larger ones need to be cut down for even roasting.
Don't crowd the pan. Spacing everything out helps the Brussels sprouts crisp instead of steam.
❄️ Storage and Reheating
Storage: Keep leftover Sheet Pan Sausages and Brussels Sprouts in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.
Reheating: Warm in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or reheat in the air fryer at 360°F for 3-4 minutes for the best texture. You can also reheat in a 350°F oven until hot.

❓ Recipe FAQs
You can keep the leftovers from this recipe for up to 3-5 days in an airtight container. Reheat again before serving.
You can prepare the brussels sprouts with the olive oil and seasonings in a covered mixing bowl, gallon sized baggie, or airtight container and keep them stored for up to 24 hours in advance in the fridge.
Yes, trimming brussels sprouts is what helps to remove the bad leaves (leaves with holes, or unsightly spots) as well as remove the wooden-like ends at the base. The hard bottoms of brussels sprouts do not soften while baking and can be very unpleasant to chew on.
