💛 Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Quick & Easy: You can whip this parfait up in under 5 minutes with minimal prep.
- Perfect for Busy Days: With minimal prep and ingredients, this parfait is the perfect snack to grab and go, or even make ahead for busy mornings.
- Budget-Friendly Ingredients: By sticking to everyday staples like yogurt, granola, and berries, you can enjoy this parfait without breaking the bank.
🛒 Ingredients

Vanilla Yogurt: A creamy base that complements the fruit and granola. I like to use nonfat Greek yogurt, but feel free to use your favorite! I recommend trying our Instant Pot Yogurt.
Strawberries & Blueberries: Fresh fruits that add natural sweetness and color. If you still have some berries leftover, be sure to try them in our Strawberry Blueberry Pancakes too.
Granola: Adds a crunchy texture that contrasts nicely with the yogurt and berries. I don't usually keep granola on hand, so I actually just mix ½ cup of oats with ½ teaspoon of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and bake at 325°F for 15 minutes (stirring midway).
See the recipe card below for full ingredients and instructions.
🥣 Recipe Add-Ins
Looking to switch things up? Try adding a spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter to the yogurt for a boost of protein and flavor. You can also add white chocolate chips for extra fun.
🔀 Substitutions & Variations
- Greek Yogurt - For dairy-free, use coconut or almond milk yogurt, or any favorite plant-based option.
- Granola - Swap with crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans) for a lower-sugar, higher-protein alternative.
- Fruits - Mix it up with whatever's in season or on sale. Raspberries, blackberries, peaches, or sliced bananas all work beautifully.
This parfait is incredibly versatile, making it easy to adjust for dietary needs, budget, or seasonal produce.
💰 Budget-Friendly Tips
Buy Fruit in Season - Strawberries and blueberries are cheapest in summer. Swap with bananas, apples, or frozen fruit during off-season to save.
Use Frozen Berries - They're often less expensive and work just as well once thawed.
Make Your Own Yogurt - A batch of Homemade Instant Pot Yogurt is cheaper and fresher than store-bought.
Homemade Granola - Try my Sourdough Discard Granola instead of buying prepackaged-it stretches your budget and reduces waste.

👩🏻🍳 Expert Tips
- If you're preparing this ahead of time, be sure to layer the yogurt and fruit separately from the granola to maintain the perfect crunch.
- For a nicer presentation, serve this parfait in clear glass jars or small cups to show off the beautiful layers.
- Make sure to store the parfaits in the fridge for up to a day for the best texture.
❄️ Storage and Make Ahead
Storage - Keep leftover parfaits in the fridge for up to 2 days. Note that granola will soften, so for best texture, store yogurt, fruit, and granola separately and assemble when ready to eat.
Make Ahead - Layer yogurt and fruit in airtight containers up to 24 hours in advance. Store granola on the side and add just before serving to keep it crunchy.

❓ Strawberry Blueberry Parfait FAQs
Yes, you can! Frozen berries work just as well, and they can add a nice chill to your parfait. Just be sure to thaw them and drain any excess moisture before layering.
Absolutely! You can substitute the Greek yogurt with coconut or almond milk-based yogurt to make it dairy-free. This will give it a different flavor profile, but it will still be delicious.
A Strawberry Blueberry Parfait can last in the fridge for up to 2 days if stored properly. However, the granola will lose its crunch after a few hours, so it's best to store it separately and add it just before serving. If you're preparing it ahead of time, keep the granola on the side to maintain the parfait's texture and freshness.
About 260-280 calories, the majority of which comes from the granola you choose and the yogurt. Opting for lower calorie granola and nonfat yogurt will help to reduce the calories per serving.
A parfait should not sit out for more than 2 hours at room temperature due to the risk of dairy spoiling. If left out longer, it's best to discard it for safety.
