- Crochet hook- 4.0 mm (G) or 5.0 mm (H)
- Yarn needle- For weaving the yarn ends into the project.
- Scissors- For cutting the yarn as needed

✂️Expert Tips
Cotton yarn is a must. It absorbs water and dries quickly. Avoid acrylic. Because you use the soap while it's in the bag, the soft absorbent cotton yarn acts like a wash cloth against your skin.

🧵Pattern FAQs
Worsted weight 100% cotton yarn is ideal. It holds up well in water, dries fast, and is machine washable. Avoid anything with synthetic fibers.
Yes! Toss it in a mesh laundry bag and wash with towels. Air dry to preserve shape.
Since crochet soap savers are made from natural fibers like cotton, it's important to let them dry between uses to prevent mildew. For best hygiene, replace your soap bag every 2-4 months, or sanitize it regularly by boiling, washing in the machine, or soaking in vinegar.
They act like a washcloth and soap holder in one, helping you gently exfoliate while getting the most out of your bar soap. They're especially handy when traveling, camping, or living a low-waste lifestyle.
Absolutely. One major perk is their ability to save tiny leftover soap bits. Just toss in your slivers with a new bar, and they'll fuse together over time, no waste! It's a great frugal habit, just like making your own cleaners.
A soap saver helps your soap last longer by allowing it to dry out properly between uses, especially compared to setting it on a ledge or shower shelf.
