This whipped frozen lemonade recipe is the thing that will keep you going this summer. During those brutal heatwaves, this refreshingly tangy and creamy cold drink is perfect for lying back and enjoying the rays or the air conditioner.
Whip: In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla using an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Blend ice: In a blender, combine the ice cubes, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice. Blend for about 1 minute.
Combine: Add all of the whipped cream to the blender and blend again until smooth and no large ice chunks remain.
Serve: Divide evenly between 4 tall glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Yield: This recipe makes about 4 glasses and can easily be halved.
Leftover condensed milk: Refrigerate and use later or drizzle over fresh fruit.
Substitution: Use 8 ounces of thawed whipped topping in place of homemade whipped cream if needed.
Lemon juice: Bottled lemon juice concentrate works, but fresh lemon juice provides the best flavor.
