French bread pizzas are an easy to make pizza creation packed with crisp and soft bread with cheese and sauce covered toppings. Every bite is delicious and filling.

Instructions
Preheat the oven.
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Slice the bread.
Slice the French bread loaf in half crosswise, then slice each piece lengthwise to expose the soft interior.
Toast the bread.
Brush the cut sides and crust lightly with olive oil. Place cut-side up on a baking sheet and bake for 3 minutes to lightly toast.
Add sauce.
Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce evenly over the toasted bread.
Top the pizzas.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese and add desired toppings.
Bake.
Return to the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread reaches your preferred crispness.
Serve.
Serve warm.
Notes
Bread choice.
French bread gives a firmer, chewier base, while an Italian loaf creates a softer texture.
Prebake option.
Brushing with oil and prebaking helps prevent soggy bread but can be skipped if a softer pizza is preferred.
Storage.
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day and reheat before serving.
