If you've never had an air fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich before, you're in for a real treat. Crispy buttered bread filled with warm and melty peanut butter and your favorite jelly in every bite.
Prep Bread. Lay out the bread slices and spread butter on one side of each slice.
Assemble. On the non buttered side of two slices, spread the jelly. Place these slices buttered side down in the air fryer basket. Spread peanut butter on the non buttered side of the remaining slices and place them buttered side up on top to form two sandwiches.
Air Fry. Cook at 400°F for 6 minutes, carefully flipping the sandwiches after 3 minutes.
Serve. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Air Fryer Size. Two sandwiches fit comfortably in an 8 quart air fryer.
Spreads. Any nut butter or jelly flavor can be used.
No Preheat Needed. The air fryer does not need to be preheated.
Air Flow Tip. The top slice of bread may lift or shift during cooking. Check at the halfway point and secure if needed.
Browning. Make sure the first side reaches your desired color before flipping, as it will not darken further after flipping.
