1can(15 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained and rinsed ($0.64)
¼teaspoonsalt($0.01)
¼teaspoonground black pepper($0.02)
¼teaspoongarlic powder($0.02)
¼teaspoonpaprika, regular or smoked($0.02)
4tablespoonsunsalted butter, cubed($0.50)
fresh parsley, chopped, optional($0.26)
Instructions
Prepare the dish. Choose an oven-safe baking dish that fits inside your air fryer. An 8-inch cake pan works well for most 8-quart air fryers, but adjust as needed based on your air fryer size.
Season the corn. Add the drained and rinsed corn to the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then mix well to evenly coat the corn.
Add the butter. Distribute the cubed butter evenly over the top of the seasoned corn.
Air fry. Place the dish into the air fryer and cook at 400°F for 8 minutes.
Finish and serve. Remove from the air fryer, stir to coat the corn in the melted butter, top with fresh parsley if using, and serve warm.
Notes
Corn Substitution. Replace the canned corn with a 16-ounce bag of frozen corn; no thawing required.
Draining and Rinsing. Rinsing canned corn helps reduce excess sodium from the packing liquid.
Reheating. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Storage. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat before serving.
