Instructions
Mash avocados.
In a medium bowl, mash the avocados to your desired texture, smooth or chunky.
Mix.
Add the diced tomato, diced onion, minced garlic, lime juice, and salt. Stir until evenly combined.
Taste.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Mixing tip.
This can be mixed directly in the serving bowl to reduce cleanup.
Fresh is best.
Guacamole has the best flavor and texture when enjoyed fresh.
Storage.
Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for a few days. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to help prevent browning.
Freezing.
Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes from watery ingredients.
