These chocolate Halloween M&M cake mix cookies are super easy to make and always fun and festive. Serve them up for Halloween and they're sure to "magically" disappear quickly.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix eggs and oil until well combined. Stir in ½ cup of Halloween M&Ms until well mixed.
Use your hands to make about 30 even balls of dough; line them up on your baking sheet. The balls will be about 1-2 tablespoon's worth of dough in size.
Top the dough balls with the remaining M&Ms. Bake for 10 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Recipe Tips
If your cookie dough doesn't hold together well and appears to be too wet, add in ¼ cup of all-purpose flour. You want your dough to be thick enough that you can roll it into balls without it sticking to your hands.
I use Devil's food cake but you can use any type of cake mix for these chocolate cake mix cookies recipe. I just think that there's a poetic touch added when using Devil's food for a Halloween recipe but feel free to use other flavors like red velvet, yellow, cherry chip, etc.
