Pepperoni pizza bombs are a delicious recipe that the whole family will enjoy. Buttery flakey crescent rolls, cheesy pepperoni centers and a little Italian herb on top make this a perfect lunch or appetizer.
Open your crescent roll dough and lay each triangle over an open muffin tin space.
Push them in to make a cup so that the base of the muffin cups is covered while the remaining dough is hanging up and over the sides.
Add a teaspoon of pizza sauce into the center of each muffin cup.
add two slices of pepperoni.
Add a piece of cheese and then add two more pieces of pepperoni on top.
Take the ends of the triangles and fold them over the top to cover the pepperoni. They should look kind of like a ball.
Sprinkle the top with your Italian seasoning.
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy warm.
Notes
Any crescent roll brand works, but use cut triangles, not sheets.
When making pizza bombs, fold the larger triangle over the pepperoni first, then use the smaller end to cover any gaps for well-covered tops.
Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Enjoy cold or reheat as desired.
Air Fryer Cooking: Line the air fryer with vented parchment paper. Shape crescent roll pieces into circles, add sauce, meat, cheese, and roll into balls. Cook at 350°F for 15 minutes.
