Peppermint iced coffee is a delicious way to get your favorite winter beverage any time of the year. Made with coffee, peppermint extract, and ice, you'll feel caffeinated, chilled, and refreshed.
Add in the coffee and stir to dissolve the sugar. Mix in the peppermint extract.
Add in your ice cubes. You'll want to leave about 1.5-2 inches of space at the top of the cup for the milk (you can always add more ice if needed).
Add in the milk.
Stir well to combine.
Top with whipped cream (if using) and peppermint pieces for garnish.
Serve immediately and enjoy cold.
Notes
Variations
Add a hint of vanilla with a teaspoon in your hot coffee.
For a chocolatey twist, turn it into an iced peppermint mocha with cocoa powder or chocolate syrup. Swap milk and peppermint extract for mocha coffee creamer.
Go dairy-free with almond or oat milk, and use store-bought coconut whipped cream as a topping.
Want extra caffeine? Switch to 1-2 shots of fresh espresso or add an espresso shot for more kick. Enjoy the variety!
Recipe TipsYou can adjust the coffee to your own tastebuds by adding in more sweetness, milk, or peppermint extract (be careful, as a little extract goes a long way!)
