These Halloween mummy hot dogs only need 2 ingredients and a few minutes of your time to prepare and pull together. Every bite is delicious and good spooky fun. Surprise the kids with this for lunch and you're sure to win over all the boys and ghouls.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Open a can of crescent rolls and unroll. Use a pizza cutter to cut them into strips about ½ inch wide. Some pieces will be longer than others and this is okay!
Pick up a hot dog and a long strip of dough. Wrap the long strip of crescent dough around the hot dog starting from one end to the other. You may need two long pieces per dog. Leave a gap at one side for the eyes.
Use smaller pieces of dough to wrap the hot dogs in the opposite direction to create a nice layered look.
Repeat for all hot dogs until all are wrapped. Place them on the baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and warmed through.
Use mustard or ketchup to put small eyes on each hot dog to complete the look.
Serve warm and enjoy.

Recipe Tips
This hot dog mummy recipe is one of those no-fail recipes you can't go wrong with. The best thing is that even poorly wrapped mummies still look incredible!
A real mummy will have bandages all over the place so don't fret if your mummy looks a little less than pristine when finished.
Depending on how cold your hot dogs are you may find that they need an extra minute or two in the oven to cook as colder hot dogs will slow the cooking on the crescent rolls just a tad and can result in them being a little softer than you may like. For this, I recommend having the hot dogs a little closer to room temp before baking.
Some people enjoy the candy eyeballs but I like sticking with ketchup or mustard. Mustard will show up much better but ketchup can look nice too.
I dip a toothpick in the sauce and then stab it through the hotdog, just a little bit to create the eyes. the sauce covers the holes and the eyes stay in place because there's not too much in one spot.
