– Fresh Strawberries – White Chocolate Melting Wafers – Red or Pink Food Coloring
– Bowl – Kitchen Towel – Spoon – Parchment Paper – Baking Sheet
Not all food coloring is created equally. I highly recommend using gel based food coloring, not water based.
You want to make sure that the berries you use are fresh not frozen. The berries should also be at room temperature before use as this will help to prevent the chocolate shells from cracking.
Place your chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring well between each until smooth.
Stir in the food coloring, one drop at a time until the color has been fully incorporated.
Dip your washed and dried strawberries into the chocolate.
Hold the berries above the chocolate to drizzle excess chocolate back into the bowl.
Place the berries onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet to set. Repeat until all berries have been covered.
