Pepperoni pizza bombs are a delicious recipe that the whole family will enjoy. Buttery flakey crescent rolls, cheesy pepperoni centers, and a little Italian herb on top make this a perfect lunch or appetizer.
– 2 cans Crescent rolls – 4 ounces Mozzarella cheese sliced into 8 equal sized squares – 1 jar (14oz) Pizza sauce – 32 slices Pepperoni – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
– Spray a muffin tin with non stick cooking spray.
– Open your crescent roll dough and lay each triangle over an open muffin tin space.
– Push them in to make a cup so that the base of the muffin cups is covered while the remaining dough is hanging up and over the sides.
– Add a teaspoon of pizza sauce into the center of each muffin cup.
– Add two slices of pepperoni.
– Add a piece of cheese and then add two more pieces of pepperoni on top.
– Take the ends of the triangles and fold them over the top to cover the pepperoni. They should look kind of like a ball.
– Sprinkle the top with your Italian seasoning.
– Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
