Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
Add in the vanilla, egg, and sugar, whisking until smooth.
Stir in the flour until no streaks remain.
Fold in the oats and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
