Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Oatmeal chocolate chip banana bread is a combination of flavors and textures that just work great together.

– 1 ½ cups Mashed bananas (about 2-3 ripe) – ⅓ cup Vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon Baking soda – ¼ teaspoon Salt  – 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract – 1 large Egg – ½ cup Granulated sugar  – 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour  – 1 cup Chocolate chips – ½ cup Old fashioned oats

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8x4 bread pan, setting it aside.

Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.

Mix in the baking soda and salt.

Add in the vanilla, egg, and sugar, whisking until smooth.

Stir in the flour until no streaks remain.

Fold in the oats and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean.

Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
